Cara A. Boyanowski concentrates her practice in the field of domestic law and wills and estates. As a domestic law practitioner, she represents clients in simple and complex divorce, support, custody, protection from abuse, adoption, and name change matters. Her practice in this field has led her to adjudicate matters before several Common Pleas courts in and around the central Pennsylvania region, as well as, the Pennsylvania Superior Court. During her first year of practice, Ms. Boyanowski argued a case of first impression before the Pennsylvania Superior Court requesting the right to sue an estate for child support.

As a wills and estates practitioner, she represents clients in the preparation and drafting of their Last Wills and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills. With estates, she prepares the documents necessary to begin the probate process, as well as, assists Executors throughout the administrative process, from valuing and selling assets, satisfying debts, and preparing the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Children Rights Committee Section) and the Dauphin County Bar Association (Family Law Section). From 2004-2006 she served as Chairwoman for the Family Law Section of the Dauphin County Bar Association. She is a member of several legal fraternal organizations and volunteers with the Friends of Fort Hunter. Ms. Boyanowski has lectured on family law subjects for the Dauphin County Bar Association, the National Business Institute and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Violence, and has participated in and presented divorce and custody law clinics for pro-bono participants.

A graduate of Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware, she earned her Juris Doctorate in May 1993. She was admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in November 1993. In May1995, Ms. Boyanowski was admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Boyanowski began her practice in Cumberland County, but moved it to Dauphin County in 1995.
