Ric Martsolf concentrates his practice in the field of real estate and land use law, including the development of commercial and residential communities as condominium and planned community developments. Having served as both a member of and counsel to local zoning hearing boards, he has gained a unique insight in the municipal process of subdivision and land development approval. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1967 and serving two years in the U.S. Army, Mr. Martsolf graduated from the Dickinson School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1972. Mr. Martsolf has authored numerous articles and lectured extensively on real estate law for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the National Business Institute and the Pennsylvania land Title Association. When his partner, Bruce F. Bratton, became the Eighth Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County in October of 2001, Mr. Martsolf joined the law firm of Serrate Iii, Schiffman, Brown & Calhoon, P.C. Mr. Martsolf is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Martsolf is married with two sons and resides in the Harrisburg area.
