Lori K. Serratelli concentrates her practice in the field of family law and employment discrimination. As a family law practitioner, she represents clients in custody, support, divorce, and protection from abuse. She has handled these matters at all levels of the judicial system, including complex matters before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. In the area of employment discrimination, Ms. Serratelli represents clients from the administrative proceedings at the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission up through State or Federal Court in the area of sex, race, disability, and age discrimination and sexual harassment. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association -including the Family Law Section, and the Dauphin County Bar Association -including the Family Law Section. She has served on such Boards of Directors as P.R.O.B.E. and the Maternal Assistance Program at Holy Spirit. Ms. Serratelli has lectured extensively on family law in the past and on employment discrimination issues on a continuing basis and has participated in and presented sexual harassment training programs. A graduate of Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, she earned her Juris Doctorate in 1978. While in law school, she co-authored a law review article on child support issues. She was admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1978. Subsequently, Ms. Serratelli was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District; U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Serratelli began her practice in 1978 and was joined by Steven J. Schiffman in 1980 in the partnership of Serratelli and Schiffman. Her current partners Michael F. Brown joined the firm in 1990 and Ronald Calhoon in 1991. A native of New Jersey, Ms. Serratelli is married with two sons and has resided in Pennsylvania since 1978.
